Other ways to engage with students
There are a number of ways for employers to engage with Macquarie students, both on and off campus:
Scholarships and Prizes
Employers are welcome to establish a scholarship or prize for Macquarie students that excel in specific aspects of university and community life. To enquire about establishing a scholarship or prize, contact the Scholarships Office on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sponsor a Student Group
Macquarie has over 170 student groups and societies, offering numerous ways for employers to effectively engage with, and support, students with specific interests. For further information, contact the Campus Life Administration Office on (02) 9850 7610.
The Macquarie Ambassadors program encourages Macquarie Alumni to share their personal and professional experiences with current Macquarie students.Consider the Lucy Mentoring Program or the First Steps Mentoring Program.
Contact us at email@example.com to register your interest in becoming a mentor.
Looking for a fresh perspective on a business problem? Take part in Univative 2017 (held during the winter break in June/July 2017) and have student teams compete to solve your specific business need, issue or challenge. This is a inter-university, inter-disciplinary competition. To find out more, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
We are always interested in working with employers to offer tailored services for specific needs. If you have a particular requirement and would like to discuss a different way of engaging with Macquarie students, please contact the Career and Employment Service on 02 9850 7372 or email@example.com.
